Abstract

The variation of strength and microstructure of green bodies were studied in the course of binders' burning out. The results show that the burnout course could be divided into three stages. When temperature is below 200 degree C, the mechanical properties of green bodies decrease with temperature increasing. When temperature increases to 350-500 degree C, the strength decreases sharply because the organic net formed in shaping course becomes softening and decomposition. And when temperature increases to 900 degree C, the strength increases gradually because of the partial sintering occurred in the body.
