Economic Dispatch of Microgrid with Multiple Energy Storages Based on Affine Decision Rules

Abstract

This paper investigates the optimal economic dispatch of microgrid and establishes an efficient scheduling model for microgrid with multiple energy storage devices considering nonanticipativity and all-scenario-feasibility. Nonanticipativity and all-scenario-feasibility require the scheduling decisions could couple any realization scenarios within the uncertainty set, which represents infinite constraints essentially. To deal with this difficulty, in this paper, affine decision rules are introduced to describe the relationship function between the dispatch decisions and uncertainties. Thus, the unknown decision functions in original stochastic programming problem are described by the linear functions, and the model with infinite constraints become solvable with guaranteeing the nonanticipativity and all-scenario-feasibility. Numerical tests are implemented on a real microgrid to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
