Abstract

In this paper, we analyze Dual-Channel Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA) technique in Bistatic Forward-looking SAR (BFSAR) for moving target detection and imaging. In the BFSAR system, the transmitter platform and receiver platform are fixed with two antennas along the direction parallel to the flight track, respectively. It is shown that, using the Dual-Channel DPCA technique in BFSAR, not only the stationary clutter can be suppressed but also the moving target can be focused well. Furthermore, the estimating method of the velocity parameters is also proposed. Lastly, the theoretic analysis is proved by computer simulations.
