Abstract
A flat field emission lamp(FFEL) has been developed using a specially designed structure. An unique electron emitter called CNX has been used, the emission current density of which is 5.7A/cm2 at 2.2V/μm. A special diode emission system was used to effectively extract electron from emitter and control the block local dimming. The FFEL shows a brightness of 15000cd/m2 with an anode voltage of 6kV.
