N2 - The electrical and optical characteristics of DBD are different from those of bare electrodes, while the Paschen curve reflects the relationship between breakdown voltage and gas pressure and gap distance. The specific characteristics in DBD need to be differentiated. The electrical characteristics of DBD are closely related to the discharge mode. The mode of DBD discharge can be divided into filamentous discharge and uniform discharge. The plasma contains a large number of excited particles, which radiate at low energy level. After being recorded by ICCD camera, the emission spectrum of plasma can be obtained. By analyzing the intensity and location of the spectrum, we can get a lot of information inside the plasma, such as electron excitation temperature, excited particle species, relative number density and the width of cathode falling zone, etc. The spectral diagnostic method used in this experiment is a non-contact plasma diagnosis method. First, based on the experimental platform of plasma, a DBD device for parallel plate electrode is set up. The medium frequency power supply is 22.0kHz, the working gas is argon, through the observation of the initial discharge voltage, discharge current, ICCD image, study the Paschen curves' characteristic of Ar-DBD, to investigate the mechanism of discharge, volt ampere characteristics and discharge mode evolution characteristics of argon gas, familiar with DBD. Then, through the ICCD camera emission spectra and nanosecond discharge dynamics image shooting, evolution of its time and space, including types, the discharge process of energetic particles in the reaction particle concentration, the cathode falls region width and electron excitation temperature relationship.
