Abstract

Two-electron and high-order intercombination transitions were simultaneously observed from autoionizing levels in large scale optically thick laser produced plasmas. Four different classes of satellite transitions were separated using high-resolution spectroscopy. Single-electron transitions, two-electron transitions, intercombination transitions and high-order intercombination transitions were investigated. The experimental spectrum and the non-Maxwellian opacity MARIA-code simulation were found in good agreement after calculating forbidden satellite transitions from various automizing levels.
