Abstract

This paper calculates the near-field thermal radiation heat transfer between two plane surface by directly solving Maxwell equation based on fluctuation-dissipation theorem. The random current source term is modified by Wiener Chaos Expansion and the controlling equations are reduced by Fourier transform. In this paper, we also compute the heat transfer between two gold films and between SiC film and gold nano-wire arrays. The calculation fits in with the analytical solutions well and the numerical error is in acceptable domain. The near-field thermal radiation between SiC film and gold nano-wire arrays is greatly enhanced.
