Abstract

To get the information about atmosphere and outer space nuclear explosion including detection, orientation and identification on satellite, every nation who has their nuclear warheads devotes their strength to research the advanced subject This paper reviews the early techniques of monitoring nuclear explosion pulsed gamma and neutron including satellite-based system, radiation detectors and detection methods on the main satellites in America. It forecasts the atmosphere and outer space nuclear explosion pulsed gamma and neutron monitoring techniques' developments and future. It will give some references in this region.
