Development of resin/waster rubber powder thermoplastic elastomer

Abstract

The preparation of resin/waste rubber powder thermoplastic elastomer, typical properties of principle kinds and the influence of radius, usage amount, compatilizer and crosslinking agent on the properties were reviewed with 10 references. At the same time, the development of the theory on the rheological behavior, crystallinity and morphology and the usage fields of it was also introduced. It was reported that with the increase dose of waste rubber powder, tensile strength decreases and the elongation at break exhibited the maximum; the particle size of waste rubber powder did not have much influence on the physical properties, when compatilizer and crosslinking agents were added, the properties had a dramatic improvement.
