Abstract
The frequency range of the partial discharge of power equipment is wide, so the data acquisition unit with high sampling rate is a key part for the on-line monitoring system. One intelligent unit is designed for the on-line monitoring of the partial discharge based on Field Programmable Gates Array (FPGA). The unit achieved 8-bit sampling precision, 100 MS/s sampling rate, 100 MHz analog input bandwidth and it can store up to 2 MB data, The unit is also designed both the RS-485 and the CAN bus. One phase window analysis algorithm is realized. This unit can be widely applied into power equipments which need to measure their PD signals.
