Abstract

Based on the analysis of biomechanics behaviour of man-machine interface in automobile driving, the characteristic parameters of body pressure distribution on automobile seat and the surface electromyography (sEMG) parameters of simulated driver's back muscle fatigue are presented. A test stand for biomechanics of man-machine interface in automobile driving composed of the simulated driving environments and biomechanics measuring system, enables to simulate different automobile driving environments and man-machine matching and analyze the parameters of body pressure distribution and sEMG due to driving tiredness to evaluate the optimal matching of man-machine interface in automobile driving system. The investigation provides an experimental foundation for optimal design of man-machine interface and ergonomics of automobile, and the test stand shows the innovation in design of simulated driving environments and biomechanics measurement.
