Abstract

The development of global energy internet is becoming more and more vital to this world, in which multi-area economic dispatch (MAED) is a fundamental and essential problem. Decentralized MAED can reduce the dimensions of large-scaled problem and protect the privacy of each sub-area, which is widely studied in recent years. In this paper, a fully decentralized algorithm based on Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) and Power Transfer Distribution Factor (PTDF) matrix is proposed, which can cancel the multipliers updating coordinator and the variables of voltage angles. Numerical example of Northeast Asia energy internet is given to test the proposed algorithm.
