Abstract

Reactions of Cu(II) or Co(II) salts and 2-(4-carboxyphenoxy)terephthalic acid (H3cpota) with N-heterocyclic donors (1,10-phenanthroline (phen) or 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy)) formed two multidimensional CPs, [Cu(μ3-Hcpota)(phen)]n·nH2O (1) and [Co24-cpota)(μ2-4,4′-bpy)(μ3-OH)]n·nH2O (2). The apoptosis percentage of ovarian cells after cyclophosphamide (CTX) exposure and treatment with 1 and 2 was evaluated by Annexin V-FITC detection kit. In addition, the secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor was measured with ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay detection kit).
