Abstract

The authors regret to inform that several numbers are mistaken due to clerical errors. In Section 3.1, paragraph 1, “The total storage of check dams in the YanRB reached 3.5 × 1011 m3 by the end of 2008, bringing great sediment trapping potential in this region.” where “1011” should be “108.” The correct expression appears below. “The total storage of check dams in the YanRB reached 3.5 × 108 m3 by the end of 2008, bringing great sediment trapping potential in this region.” Correspondingly, the unit in Fig. 6(c) should be “m3” instead of “km3.” The corrected Fig. 6 is provided as below.[Formula
