Abstract
In this paper, an AC micro-grid containing renewable energy sources, energy storage system and different types of loads is proposed. The mathematical model of distributed energy sources is presented and the inverter controller including internal loops and external loops are designed. Control strategy for energy storage system and load is also addressed. The real-time simulations verify the effectiveness and robustness in grid connected mode and island mode, as well as in the transition between these two modes.
