Abstract

Various non-180° domain and heterophase structures, observed in relaxor-based (1 - x) Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 - xPbTiO3 single crystals with various Ti4+-concentration in a wide temperature range, have been analyzed using the concepts of zero-net-strain planes. The interfaces between the coexisting Pm3̄m, P4 mm and R3 m phases, and the related domain, structures, are classified into three groups according to the features of unit-cell parameters.
