N2 - LLC resonant converter has been widely used in many applications due to its characteristics of high efficiency, wide range operation, and high frequency operation. The analysis methodology for LLC resonant converters is of great importance for analyzing and designing the converter. Based on the existing literature, there are mainly four different methodologies. However, there is no systematic view and comparative study on these different approaches. The main purpose and contribution of this paper is to make a comprehensive study on these methodologies and provide readers with guidance for analyzing and designing LLC resonant converters. Further, the corresponding recommended applications are summarized. An experimental prototype is built to verify the theoretical analysis.
