Abstract

Three methods, including, coordinate mapping, interpolation, and region mapping, are proposed for calibrating the 3-D profile measure system. The advantages as well as disadvantages of each method are outlined. It is emphasized that the method to be applied should be carefully chosen to get high measuring speed and the required accuracy.
