Abstract
As an alternative to the existing bioheat transfer models a new system of two energy equations is proposed by considering the human body as a deformable porous medium. One equation is developed for the blood and the other for the peripheral skeletal tissue. It includes such significant factors as the vascular geometry and size, the blood flow and direcdon, thermal diffusion and the local thermal nonequilibrium between the blood and peripheral tissue. Discussion and application of both equations are given.
