N2 - We study experimentally and theoretically the dynamics of wave packets at exceptional rings stemming from Dirac points in a photonic honeycomb lattice. We demonstrate a new effect: the transverse non-Hermitian drift in the reciprocal space, useful for beam steering. Its description is based on biorthogonal quantum metric.
