Bargain Game Based Secure Content Delivery in Vehicular Networks

Abstract

Vehicular networks become essential in providing safety driving services for drivers. With the popularization of the vehicular networks, to protect the security of content delivery becomes a challenge. To this end, in this chapter, we propose a secure content delivery mechanism in the network. Specifically, we first evaluate the trust values of vehicles and roadside units (RSUs) by introducing authority units (AU) to limit the actions of nodes in the networks. Next, a price competitive scheme between the vehicle and the RSU is proposed by using the bargain game to encourage them to improve their utilities and trust. With the designed bargain game based scheme, the security of nodes and packets can be guaranteed. Finally, we evaluate the proposed scheme using simulation. The result demonstrates that the proposed scheme can increase the utilities of vehicles and RSUs to deliver content securely compared to the conventional method.
