Approach to manufacturing collaborative-supporting tool

In order to meet the needs of network manufacturing, a methodology to construct a project-based collaborative working environment is put forward and the synchronously correspondent collaborative web-tool based on the cross-platform Java solution is developed. The functions of this tool include collaborative privilege management, Java JMF-driven collaborative interactions, collaborative browsing of part geometric model, collaborative history record and so on. Furthermore, data or knowledge mining may be implemented by using the collaborative history recorded as an information resource.
