Abstract
This paper introduces a new method to measure gas thermodynamic parameters in a combustion chamber by laser interferometry. The gas instantaneous temperature and density in a constant volume bomb have been measured, and the precision of measurement results is analyzed. The results show that it is a very effective method in measuring and studying gas local instantaneous thermodynamic parameters of the combustion chamber and can used to measure flame propagation velocity.
