Abstract
A new liquid level controller is successfully developed in virtue of the physical properties and the hydrodynamic theory of vapor-liquid two-phase flow. The detailed design formulae for this controller are given and its adjustment principles and economics are analyzed. Its successful application in actual industries demonstrates that the new liquid level controller could satisfactorily meet the requirements of industrial productions. This controller has no movable component and has overcome the shortages of other products such as easily blocked, worn, corroded, leaked and so on. Its advantages are as follows: longer life, wholly sealed equipment with no leakage, safety and high reliability, stronger self-adjustment, stable liquid level, and no electric or mechanical energy consumption. This new liquid level controller has a broad application in the regions of power plant, petroleum and chemical engineering.
