Abstract

This paper describes an apparatus for phase voltage measurement in three-phase enclosed GIS on very fast transients. Three capacitance sensors are needed in order to measure the VFT (very fast transients) phase voltage, the output of which have a linear relation with three phases (A, B and C) voltage. The linear relation matrix is discussed and its experiment determination method is given. Finally, the VFT phase voltage waveform curves based on a three-phase enclosed GIS bus model are displayed.
