Analysis of prevalence study on maternity and child care in the experimental units of new-type rural co-medical treatment of Shaanxi province

Objective: To find out the county woman's requirements of maternity and child care knowledge in experimental units of Luochuan County and Bin County in Shaanxi province. Methods: Stratified sampling methods were used to carry out the prevalence study of maternity and child care for women at child bearing-age in Luochuan County and Bin County. Results: The services of maternity and child care were laggard, and there was significant difference between these two areas. Conclusion: It would have positive effects on maternity and child care service in new-type rural co-medical area to enhance the country women's consciousness of self-health, to develop economy, and to promote the professional levels of health workers.
