An Improved Phaseless Pattern Reconstruction Method in Imperfect Reverberation Chamber

Abstract

This work presents an improved antenna pattern reconstruction method in reverberation chamber using phaseless near-field data. The proposed method firstly introduces the way of calculating radiation pattern in reverberation chamber without phase information. Then, the optimization for finding the invertible solution of the objective matrix when using the generalized pseudoinverse matrix to derive the targeted antenna pattern is analyzed in detail. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively improve the reconstruction accuracy of the antenna radiation pattern obtained in reverberation chamber with phaseless near-field measurement.
