abstract = "This work presents an effective and simple method in transforming the spherical wave into plane wave and reversely deriving the near field close to the antenna aperture. The proposed method firstly uses the geometric relationship to projecting the sampled spherical field onto a plane. The distance between the antenna aperture and the plane is the same as the radius of the sampled sphere. Then the spatial deconvolution method is used to derive the extreme near field close to the antenna aperture. This method avoids to use the complex coefficient calculation process of the conventional spherical-to planar transformation, and the accuracy is satisfactory verified by the simulation results.",
