Abstract
Narrow bandwidth significantly limits the development of electromagnetic cloaks. Here, we demonstrated both numerically and experimentally a new route to broadband low-loss electromagnetic cloak. The cloak is all-metallic and non-resonant, avoiding both the narrow bandwidth and high loss problems. To verify the proposed cloak, a sample operating at X-band was fabricated and tested. Both the simulation and experiment results convincingly confirm the broadband property of such cloaks.
