Abstract
A red diode laser pumped Cr: LiSAF laser has been demonstrated with plane - concave cavity at longitudinal pump operation . An average output power of 5 mW is obtained with average pump power of 5 4 mW and repetition frequency of 2 0 0 Hz at pulsed pump operation . The curve of output power versus pump power is given at CW operation with the laser wavelength of 873nm.
