Abstract
The developing energy intensive corporation(EIC) microgrids are encouraged to integrate large numbers of plug-in electric vehicles(PEVs) owned by their employees. This paper proposes a two-stage tri-level robust model for the stochastic coordination of microgrid self-generation and PEV aggregators charging/discharging. Several uncertainties are described as a bounded uncertainty set. The objective is to minimize the total energy cost in the worst case. Since most of such corporations run in shift-work system and the number of plugging PEVs keeps in a stable range during each shift, we present achievable evaluations of energy boundaries and charging/discharging abilities for PEV aggregators. Furthermore, the model is converted to a bi-level one which can be solved efficiently. Case study based on an iron and steel company with almost 40,000 PEVs is tested. The results verify the effectiveness of the solution methodology and show that the integration of large scale vehicle-to-grid(V2G) reduce the volatility of the unbalanced power flow between the microgrid and the public grid and cut down the corresponding cost by 5%.
