Abstract

This letter proposed a novel convex optimization model, whose optimal solution is proved to be the precise solution of the natural gas flow equations. Furthermore, a linear program is employed to tightly linearize the nonlinear parts and a corollary is given to check the feasibility. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
