Abstract

(Graph Presented) Star formation: Polymeric [Fe33-O)(μ-OAc)6(H2O)3][Fe 33-O)μ-OAc)7.5]2· 7H2O is synthesized by linking triangular {Fe33-O)} clusters through anti-anti bridging acetate ligands (see picture; red and blue: Fe, orange: O). Spin frustration and long-range magnetic order coexist in this compound below 4.5 K (see graph).
