To address the problem, this paper proposes a service-oriented e-learning reference architecture (SOELA), and a federate prototype system SOELS by using SOELA, Web Services and portlet. Particularly, the network model and interaction model for collaboration of SOELS are introduced. SOELS verifies the effectiveness of SOELA and meets the integration requirements on e-learning Information and Resource Management Systems.",
