Abstract
A rare 1D lanthanide complex {[Dy(HPA)2(NO3) 2]NO3}n (1) (HPA = (4-pyridylthio)acetic acid) was synthesized and structurally characterized. Under the given dc field, both in-phase and out-of-phase frequency dependence signals are observed in alternating current (ac) magnetic measurements, revealing the slow magnetic relaxation of 1.
