Abstract

A novel label free cells identification method is put forward. Even interval incident angle algorithm (EIIA) is developed which is effective in distinguish label free cells with tiny structural property differences. The spectra of human acute leukaemia Jurkat cell models with different nuclei are processed by EIIA to test the sensitivity and reliability of this identification method. According to EIIA processing results, it can be proved that the original heavily compacted spectra are well separated, and some obvious standards which can be adopted to identify abnormal cells from healthy ones emerge. EIIA method provides a valid pathway for identify label free cells simply and directly by their laser scattering spectra. And it may supply an important clinic diagnosis tool to detect malignant cells in early cancerous stage without any dying and marking procedures.
