Abstract

With the increasing penetration rate of new energy generation equipment, the active support of virtual inertia control for grid frequency technology has become an essential means to solve frequency safety issues caused by frequency accidents. However, the current new power system is facing the problem of different virtual inertia control methods for new energy generation equipment, and the difficulty in evaluating the actual frequency support capacity of stations. There is a lack of accurate and effective solutions for inertia measurement of new energy equipment in engineering. This article proposes a new method for online measurement of equivalent inertia of new energy field stations based on power decoupling, which decomposes the contributions of inertia power and damping power, and uses data processing methods such as ADF filtering and LOF bad point removal to improve measurement accuracy and achieve accurate inertia.
