Abstract

On the basis of the requirement analyses of fields balancing, the maximum, uniformity and sum of squares of residual vibration were selected to be as optimization objectives for rotor set balancing. In order to coordinate the above three criterions, fuzzy mathematics theory was employed to build a multi-objective optimization function. The principles of particle swarm optimization of balancing weight were studied. Furthermore it was applied to implement the weight optimization of holo-balancing. The effectiveness of the proposed method and its advantages of smaller computation volume and faster convergence speed compared with genetic algorithm optimization are verified by a practical balancing application of generator set.
