Abstract

A millimeter wave (mmWave) waveguide filtering power divider based on spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) rectangular waveguide (RWG) structure is proposed in this paper. The SSPP-RWG unit cells and corresponding cut-off frequencies are investigated. A mmWave waveguide filtering power divider (FPD) is further designed. Simulated results show that the proposed FPD has a wide bandwidth from 22.65GHz to 27.32GHz. The frequency selectivity of the FPD is excellent because of the usage of the SSPP-RWG structure. The consistency between the two output ports of the FPD is excellent. The in-band magnitude and phase difference of the output ports are less than 0.1 dB and 1°.
