Abstract

Hybrid distribution transformer (HDT) is significant for the intelligence of the power network due to its powerful controllability. In this paper, a three-phase circuit scheme of HDT is presented. To reduce the number of discrete magnetics and make high efficient use of the magnetic material, a magnetic integration structure of HDT (MIHDT) is proposed, which is realized by creating the adjustable magnetic circuit, setting up the common magnetic circuit and shifting windings' phase. In this way, the large numbers of discrete magnetics in HDT are integrated together. Furthermore, the magnetic density of MIHDT is analyzed and the inductance matrix is calculated by 3-D Finite Element Method, and then the model of MIHDT based on the inductance matrix is established.
