Abstract

The synchronization method based on current zero-crossing detection is hard to applied in the LCC-LCC type wireless power transfer systems (WPTSs) because of the rich harmonics in the resonant current. This paper proposed a harmonic-compensated synchronization method based on current orthogonal decomposition with simple hardware. The influence of current harmonics on the phase detector under steady-state and dynamic conditions is analyzed through mathematical modeling to ensure the accuracy of phase-locked loop. The effectiveness of the proposed synchronization method was verified through simulation.
