Abstract
This article presents a fast method for evaluating the total isotropic sensitivity (TIS) of wireless devices based on total radiated power (TRP) measurement in a reverberation chamber (RC). The proposed method enables the efficient derivation of TIS values for the TRP measurement band. It leverages the device's known output power and sensitivity parameters of the radio frequency (RF) channel, which are obtained from an additional wireless cable test. A comparative analysis in the RC demonstrates the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach over the conventional approach. Uncertainty analysis further confirms that the obtained TIS results are sufficiently reliable for industrial production testing.
