Abstract
This paper proposes a Copeland-method-based importance evaluation strategy for the components in the transmission systems. We first introduce the model of resilience for the power transmission system. Then, we propose a Copeland-method-based evaluation strategy for the components in the power transmission system under natural disasters. The proposed Copeland-method-based evaluation strategy is verified in the IEEE RTS 24-bus system. Case studies show that the proposed strategy can effectively assess and rank the importance of the components under extreme natural disasters.
