Abstract

This article presents a comparative study of two DAB-type microinverters: T-type DAB-based DC-DC-AC converter and high frequency DAB-type microinverter. First, the topologies and basic principles are analyzed. The T-type DAB-based DC-DC-AC converter is a three port converter equipped with an energy storage device, which enables it to make greater use of solar energy. The high frequency DAB-type microinverter can reduce the voltage ripple by increasing the switching frequency, so the power quality can be improved. Then, their simulation models are established, whose operating conditions are expanded compared to the original literature, and the simulation results are given, containing more detailed operational waveforms. Finally, the comparison is made between them to analyze their application prospects.
