Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to perform a comparative study of different space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) techniques for dual three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous motor (DTP-PMSM) drives. Simulation results are provided to emphasize the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Experimental tests have been carried out to validate the most promising strategy which gives satisfactory results in terms of current harmonic minimization and low implementation complexity.
