Abstract
High entropy alloys, as a new type of alloy material, have attracted extensive attention in many fields in recent years. Different from traditional alloys, high entropy alloys are composed of a variety of principal elements, and their special microstructure endows them with excellent comprehensive properties, especially excellent high-temperature mechanical properties. This article first introduces the preparation method of 3d transition metal high entropy superalloy (3d-TM HESA), as well as the phase composition and its influencing factors. Then, not only the mechanical properties and strengthening mechanisms at room temperature/ high temperature, but also the high-temperature oxidation properties and creep properties are summarized. Finally, the application prospect of high entropy superalloys is prospected, and the current challenges are proposed. How to design new high entropy superalloys will be a hot-and-difficult topic in future research.
