Abstract
Non-pneumatic tire can avoid the blowout risk of pneumatic tire，and it has become a hot product in the rubber/tire industry. The non-pneumatic tire is consisted of wheel hub，spokes，shear band and tread，and the shear band is an important component in the structure of non-pneumatic tire. The shear band could be divided into three material types：rubber shear band，polyurethane shear band and metal shear band. The structure and material parameters of shear band have great influence on the performance of nonpneumatic tire. In a word，the technological progress of the shear band structure and material provides strong technical support for the further development of non-pneumatic tire.
