Abstract
Metal melt deposition involves thermo-physical processes such as the formation, morphological evolution, flow and solidification of metal melts. According to the discontinuous characteristics of liquid metal flow, a metal melt deposition device was designed and developed. The results show that the monitoring and control of the key parameters (pulse pressure, scanning speed, melt temperature, substrate temperature, etc.) in the process of metal melt deposition is realized by this experimental device study, which provides the necessary experimental software and hardware basis for the further study of melt deposition forming technology.
