Abstract

Dynamic submarine cable for floating offshore wind power platform, as the connection between floating turbine and static submarine cable, is the key equipment to achieve offshore wind energy resources development, long-distance transmission and renewable energy utilization. In this paper, the technical development status of the dynamic cable is comprehensively described in accordance with the development context of dynamic submarine cable system, and from such factors as structure comparison between "dry" and "wet" of dynamic submarine cable, development of water resistant tree insulation material, related technology of cable accessories, failure factor of dynamic submarine cable, test method as well as engineering application. In particular, Such hot issues as test method of water resistant tree insulation material of dynamic submarine cable with "wet" structure and the test standard of dynamic submarine cable system are analyzed. The problems needing to be solved in the development of dynamic submariner cable are proposed, which include studying the long-term aging mechanism of water resistant tree insulation material, developing water resistant tree insulating material for higher voltage, optimizing accessory structure and manufacturing process, exploring joint testing technology of whole dynamic cable system and improving relevant specification and standard of China National standard concerning the submarine cable. The study can provide a reference for the design of dynamic submarine cable, development of key material and improvement of equipment manufacturing process and test technology in China.
