Abstract

In order to speed up the solution of security-constrained unit commitment problem considering the uncertainty of wind power,a multi-scenario multi-temporal security-constrained unit commitment decomposition method considering the uncertainty of wind power is proposed. The original problem is decomposed into the security-constrained unit commitment problems of several scenarios. The security-constrained unit commitment problem of each scenario is decomposed by dividing the dispatching period of each scenario into several sub-periods,and several parallel subproblems are formed. In order to ensure the feasibility of the solution for multi-scenario decomposition and multi-temporal decomposition, the consistency constraints are used for coupling different subproblems, and the penalty terms are added to the objective functions. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by example analysis. The results show that, compared with the conventional centralized method, the proposed method can significantly shorten the solution time of multi-scenario security-constrained unit commitment problem with acceptable accuracy.
